Holiday Collection Schedule
When a holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday, collection pick-up will obtain on the next following business day. Holidays that fall on a Thursday or Friday, collection pick-up will obtain one business day early, except the Friday after Thanksgiving, which will not affect the schedule.
For example: (A Monday or Tuesday holiday)
Residents, who normally have collection of garbage on a Monday or Tuesday, will have collection pick-up on the next following day. That will move Tuesday's collection to Wednesday. Other collection days during the week will NOT be affected.
For example: (A Thursday holiday)
Residents, who normally have collection of green waste on a Thursday, will have collection pick-up moved one business day early, which will fall on Wednesday. That will not affect Friday's collection. Collection days during the following week will NOT be affected because there is no regularly scheduled collection on weekends.
For example: (A Friday holiday)
Residents, who normally have collection of green waste on a Friday, collection pick-up move one business day early, which will fall on Thursday. Collection days during the following week will NOT be affected because there is no regularly scheduled collection on weekends.
