The Information Technology Division provides office automation and data processing services which increases the effectiveness of all City departments. Software and technical support is provided to evaluate, procure, develop or modify software programs to the specified needs of various operating units; hardware and technical support is provided for City-wide, remote and local area operating platforms; networked automation support is available to all City staff including a work flow processing system; and centralized computer processing services are provided on all major systems including report generation and distribution, input/output and tape controls, system backups and batch data entry services. Finally the Information Technology Division supports all of the City's communication requirements including VOIP and Cellular
Communications.
