The Information Technology Division provides accurate and timely computer data and services to City staff to assist them in managing resources for the efficient and effective delviery of City services.
The Information Technology Division provides office automation and data processing services which increase the effectiveness of all City departments. Software and technical support is provided to evaluate, procure, develop or modify software programs to the specified needs of various operating unist; hardware and technical support is provided for City-widw, remote and local area operating platforms; networked automation support is available to all City staff including a work flow processing system, and centralized computer processing services are provided on all major systems including report generation and distribution, input/output and tape controls, system backups and batch data entry services.
